CHRIST'S UNIVERSITY IN PACIFIC VISIT TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF OSTRAVA!

The Vice-Chancellor of Christ's University in Pacific (CUP), Dr. Vili Vailea Saulala, visit the Technical University of Ostrava (TUO-VSB) in Czech Republic for 14 days (26.04.23 - 10.05.23).

The two Institutions was first signing the M.O.U. in January 2019 in Tonga. The founder and former Vice-Chancellor of CUP, Rev Dr. Liufau Vailea Saulala, was signing the MOU and Professor Vaclav Snasel the current Rector of TUO-VSB. 

Staff and PhD students from TUO-VSB has been visiting CUP in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Unfortunately, the covid-19 change the plan of the continuity of the Staff and Students exchange, scholarship, and etc.

So, on the 3rd of May, the Vice-Chancellor of CUP and the Rector of TUO-VSB signed a new M.O.U. for a duration of 5 years (03.05.23 - 03.05.28). This M.O.U. will promote interest in the teaching and research activities of the respective Universities. Also organise symposia, conferences, short courses and meetings on research issues, and etc.

I did also had the opportunity to meet the Vice-Rector (Professor Cajka Radim), Director of International Affairs (Dr. Michaela Vrazelova), the CUP Dean for School of Computer Science (Dr. Pavel Kromer), and other Senior Administrators and Senior Academic Staffs.

We thank Jesus for this great academic opportunity and to HIM all the Glory and Honour Forever!
