Description of collaborating organisations
Christ's University in Pacific (CUP)is a locally-owned university under the guidance of the Tokaikolo Christian Church. Opened in 2018 after being granted accreditation and registered by the Tonga National Qualification Accreditation Board (TNQAB), becoming the first local university to be registered by the Board. It offers Business and Law, Education, Theology, Computer Science and Science qualifications.


Wakefield International College (Gosford) (WIC) is a registered training organisation based in Adelaide and Gosford on the Central Coast of NSW. WIC delivers training and assessment to international students as a CRICOS registered provider and offers courses in Hospitality, commercial cookery and Horticulture.
WIC's current scope of registration is as follows:

• SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Year 1)
• SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (Year 2)
• SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management (Year 3)

Purpose
The purpose of the CUP and WIC Memorandum of Understanding is to record this agreement and describe both parties' responsibilities in enacting this agreement.

Scope
The scope of the agreement will outline the nature of the collaboration between both parties and build a framework for the basis of a separate overarching third-party agreement. CUP and WIC Gosford will agree to conduct Vocational-based courses as listed on WIC's scope of registration, utilising CUP's facilities and staff to undertake the training and assessment on WIC's behalf under the auspices of a third-party Agreement's requirements.

CERTIFICATE III IN INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT (AGEING/DISABILITY)

Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision and delegation as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.
These individuals take responsibility for their own outputs within the scope of their job role and delegation. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.

Course Duration
This qualification is delivered over a period of 12 – 6 months online self-paced study. The course is self-paced, so the hours of study vary from student to student and are influenced by many factors including the amount of time students can dedicate to their studies.

Entry Requirements
• 18 years of age or over at time of enrolment
• Access to a computer with word processing, PDF reader capabilities and an internet connection
• Ability to read and comprehend course materials
• Ability to allocate appropriate study hours per week
• Access to suitable work placement clothing is required.
i.e., black pants, white polo shirt and leather (or leather like) fully enclosed shoes with non-slip soles.

Work Placement
All students undertaking this qualification are required to complete 120 hours of work placement. Students will be placed with a host Aged Care provider with in close proximate to their location. During work placement student will be required to complete a logbook and undertake assessments whilst on the job.
Work placement provides with the student the opportunity to utilise the skills learnt in the classroom into actual practice.
Students will be provided with additional information during their course orientation on work placement and work placement requirements.
